Because of Motorola, you need to invest in this...

When Motorola invented the Xoom, they did so with a power plug in mind that was totally non-standard. Even though countless Amazon sellers offer MicroUSB charger and car chargers, this product is the only one that actually works. The cable is long, the plugs on both ends are good quality, and it charges the Xoom at full capacity. The price goes up and down a lot, so if you find it for around $15, you get a good deal. Anything over $25 is just overpriced. But sadly, you don't have many other options.

A great item to have if you want the flexibility of being able to charge your Xoom away from home. You are not limited to just charghing the battery at home but can do it on the road as well. Great for people who take the XOOM with them always.

Loose, but manageable

So like with all of the xoom non-docking chargers, this one is a small pin that gets inserted on the "bottom" of the Xoom. Since it's a car charger, I bought it for a 20 hour car ride I was going to be taking. It works great if you don't touch it at all, and the Xoom doesn't move at all. This is also true about the wall mount. However, bump it, touch it, and the wire falls right out. This is either design genius or major design flaw. Because it would suck to have that pin break off inside the Xoom.

So I'm giving 4/5. Too see the price
